Buying a Home

From “Where Do I Even Start?” to Welcome Home

Buying a home is exciting—but let's be real, it can also come with a whole lot of questions. How much house can I afford? Do I need 20% down? Which loan is right for me? Should I talk to a lender or start looking at houses first?

You don't have to know all the answers before you get started. That's what I'm here for.

I've put together resources to help you understand the process, explore financing, search for the right home, and feel a little more confident about what comes next.

Whether you're buying your very first home or you've done this a few times before, start wherever you are and we'll go from there.

Buying Your First Home?

First of all—welcome! You are absolutely not expected to already know how all of this works.

Part of my job is helping you understand the process as we go—from getting pre-approved and figuring out what you can comfortably afford, all the way through showings, offers, inspections, appraisal, and closing. Ask questions. Lots of them. That's what I'm here for.

Not Sure Where to Start?

For most buyers, one of the best first steps is talking with a mortgage lender before seriously shopping for homes.

A lender can help you understand your financing options, estimated monthly payment, available loan programs, and a comfortable price range. Then we can search for homes with a much clearer picture of what makes sense for you.

Ready to Talk About Buying?

You don't need to have everything figured out before you reach out. Tell me where you are in the process, even if the answer is “I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing.” We can start there.
